The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection can't change resolution

i got this problem tryed the fix on that link and it doesint work for me ☹️

I tried the mod in the link above and now it gave me a DX9 error that it cant find any graphics adapters luckily I backed up the original file but it wont work for me as I am trying to change it to 1920x1080

ive tried to just set the 123 to just 333 but after that i get a blue/purple screen with a movable mouse pointer that does nothing after that
