The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection on EA App Desktop

Hello!

I was wondering when will EA migrate The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection from Origin to the EA App Desktop? I love TS2 and I want to keep playing it and I don't want to lose it from my library, but I'm a little apprehensive about whether EA will actually do this migration. The game already appears in the EA App library, but it gives an error when downloading.

    Guys, good news they fixed the issue and The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection shows up on the EA App to download & install now if you own it. What a relief.

    I had sims 2 on my origin account, but now that I ended up downloading the new EA app.. It's not showing up on my library. I want to be able to play sims 2 as well..

    I´m finally capable of downloading The Sims 2 from the EA app and I´ll let you all know if I can play, but I think this is going to work¡¡

    Edit: Ok, this is...weird. It says that, in order to install The Sims 2 Store Edition, I need to have The Sims 2. Every "-.exe" that I have, leads to this.

    Any ideas?

    Will I lose access to The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection once I’m forced to transition to EA app?

    To the EA team:

    The Sims 2 is my all time favorite game. I’ve been playing it since I was a child. Years ago when I was able to redeem The Sims Ultimate Collection, I lost the ability to play my older Sims 2 game as it was in Origin and I no longer had the product code nor the disc for it. Now that Origin is disappearing and we have to transition to the new EA app, I am very worried I will no longer be able to play The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection and will lose not only years of gameplay, but the ability to play my favorite game at all. Will The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection be supported on the new platform?? Will I run into any issues??

    At this time there is no word from EA about older games and EA App. Please remember that many of these games are 32 bit and have not been updated to run 64 bit.

    So what? They can make a compatible port.

    I've played with The Sims 2 in a modern PC without problem, so I don't get why it should be a problem to just put it in the EA app.

    I've downloaded the game from the EA app with all the files but it keeps saying that The Sims 2 must be installed in order to play (is a strange loop, yeah), but it says nothing about compatibility issues.

    We just have to wait, I guess...

    I was told there's not record of me having purchased the Sims 2 so there's nothing they can do for me unless I have an order number.  I have two Sims 3 games missing as well.

    Having the same issue, and I HAD The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection in Origin, but in the EA App I have The Sims 2 Double Deluxe.

    This can be replicated by being forced to switch from Origin to EA App - had I known this would happen, and I'd be unable to play a game I own, I wouldn't have installed the EA App. 100% occurrence; I expect to see the game I own (The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection) instead of an inferior bundle.

    I'm days trying to download the game, but it does not work. They told me that's not available anymore. That's so disrespectful... even because I had Sims 2 UC and no it shows Sims 2 DD
