Hi @niback1992,
Welcome to the forums! Let me try to help 🙂
First thing I would try is repairing the game through Origin. Just right click on the game and select the Repair option, Origin will do all the hard work 😉
If that doesn't work, have you already tried to give compatibility mode a try?:
- Right click on the game shortcut in your desktop and select 'Properties'.
-
Click on the Compatibility tab.
-
You can check the box under Compatibility mode and choose your preferred version of Windows from the pull-down menu. Select to run the game in compatibility mode with Windows XP Service Pack 3.
-
I would also recommend checking the box beside “Run this program as an administrator.”
-
Click Apply to save your changes and then try launching your game again.
As Windows, and the hardware it runs on, has changed over time since the original launch of many of our games, unfortunately older games won't always run properly for you in compatibility mode under Windows 10, but it's worth trying!
Let us know if this helps, or if you have any questions!

I had to install using a zip file to disable/enable user acct control, I was finally able to install it, but it won't run. It still gives me the app error, opening thru the compatibility test just makes my screen look very small with icons cramped together and stays that way. I've tried to run it thru every window with and without running as administrator

@Sibby2332 , please start a new thread so we can keep track of this problem. As it stands now this is being posted in a thread that was marked as solved. Thanks!
