The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection Problem - Please Help!!

So, I did all the steps to download the Sims 2 Ultimate Collection. After it was downloaded and installed, I clicked on it from my desktop and nothing happened. I clicked it several times and not 1 sign of it working (or even not working) happened except for my mouse doing the loading thing. I tried opening it from the Origin client and it did the same.

Also, I have another problem. A very bad one. I was curious to why TS2 wasn't working so I opened my files and opened My Documents and then Electronic Arts. The only program that was there was The Sims 3, which I got a month ago. I tried searching "The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection" in my files and nothing showed up at all. I have a feeling this is linked to my first problem. Does anyone have an explanation and a solution to this problem? I would appreciate it so much if I got help. Thanks in advance!

    so i managed to find the EA games folder in registry editor and delete the TM out of the sims 2 ultimate collection (which i found the TM i must have been mistaken before) and i opened the sims 2 and got the same reaction every time now. the screen goes to 640 x 480 resolution and uses only 256 colors, then stops working and goes back to normal. i also found the critical reaction details and i copied it, so i just need you to tell me where i should put it. i really hope to fix this problem soon so i can play the game.
