the sims medieval is unplayable

so far, with every quest i've encountered, there has been a bug that has made it impossible to progress. made the mistake of decorating my own castle, because that made the messenger post UNUSABLE. got the responsibility to send a guildmaster to the stocks, had them there but the game didn't register it thus FAILING it. tried to marry my build master, but kept getting cold feet because i dared to NOT use the church despite the game telling me it was an option. somehow fixed that just to have my husband UNABLE TO COME TO THE CASTLE to consummate the marriage. HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE. the game has been out for over a decade and there's still bugs? are you not embarrassed?!? and to add insult to injury, the amount of time I WASTED trying to fix these problems, i've now played it past the hours allowing me to RETURN THIS ABHORRENT MESS to get my MONEY BACK. shame on you, EA. shame on you.
