The Sims Medieval won't launch
I just bought TSM almost 2 weeks ago. It has never been able to launch. It keeps giving me the error "Failed to launch game- an error on our end caused the game to fail. Try again a little later"....

cwbethanyc The most recent error in your dxdiag is from the same error that the Alder Lake fix and workarounds should have addressed. Since the one you tried didn't work, you can try applying the Alder Lake patch, or using Process Lasso. Both are covered here:

You would of course apply the method of your choice to TSM.exe rather than TS3 or TS3W.
Your dxdiag also lists a large number of BlueScreens, and several different types. Are these happening as you're trying to play? The dxdiag doesn't have timestamps for the errors it lists, so I can't tell you how frequent they are. But if you want to know, click Windows key-R and enter perfmon /rel , and you'll see a chart of errors and updates with a column for each day. Click any column to view the day's errors below the chart, and right-click any error name and select "View technical details" to see more information.
