It was suggested to me that people over the age of 30 should not be playing The Sims.
At what age will you be when you decide you are too old to play The Sims?
For reference, I am over 50, and love the game, and have no intention of abandoning playing :)
But can we have Manul's opinion on that?

I’m fast approaching 50 and don’t see any reason to stop playing anytime soon. And I don’t really care what other people think about that 🙂
Nobody makes such "suggestions" except engagement baiters.
There was a time in my life when I didn't play sims and sometimes I wonder what would have happened if I never started playing again. What would I be doing, maybe playing some other games? I don't know, but I also don't mind that I started playing again. I have enjoyed it and had a lot of fun, and this community means a lot to me 💛

This is my point. This game was made for teenagers. I respect their wants and contributions to the game.
As an adult I just want to help influence more fun gameplay in the sims.
They don't stand a chance with adult issues if the gameplay updates the rating to mature adult audiences.
They should make a sister game for mature adult players in the sims if you want a voice otherwise adult players can mod the game as realistic as they like..
To be honest, as an adult I don't have any issues with the teen rating. I have no need or desire to include 'mature' content that requires an adult rating. We have woohoo, death, midlife crises, diseases, pollution,... All in a cartoony way but they are present. I don't need the darker, more aggressive part of the world in my game.
This game is for everyone to play at all ages above the teen rating.
This dose not exclude simmers that are 50+.
EA makes money off of a teen+ rated game..

Don't blame EA for depression in the game. This is/was your choice if you want serious adult issue in your game with mods.
I play the game how it's designed and the teen influences in the game makes me happier.🙂
