Can’t get pass the garden update (bug)

I’m writing to report a game-breaking bug in The Sims FreePlay on mobile.

 

I logged into my old account, and everything seemed fine until I went to town and started the garden update tutorial. Everything worked normally up until the point where I have to pick the lettuce bag. When I tap on it, the action starts but then gets stuck — the game doesn’t progress past that step.

 

I’ve already tried:

· Uninstalling and reinstalling the game

· Trying on a different device

· Clearing cache (if applicable)

 

The issue still happens on both devices. I cannot get past this tutorial step, so I’m completely blocked from playing further.

 

Please let me know if there’s a fix or if you can reset the tutorial or skip this quest on my account.

    I finally managed to fix it! I don’t know if it was a coincidence or if it is a legitimate fix but maybe try if it works for you too. So I waited for a notification from the game to pop up and i clicked it and it let me in the game (everytime i opened the game before it started with the endless loop of the community garden tutorial so i needed a way to get anywhere else in game that is not the og town center. If you don’t have issues with getting in game without going into town, skip this step). I then clicked on a sim that i knew for sure had a house in the town part (where the community garden is). I went to their house and I clicked on their car and selected go for a drive and i fast forwarded the task (i was impatient so you can maybe wait if you want) and then it took me into town and it started the community garden tutorial again but this time it finally let me finish it! I don’t know if it was luck or if it is a fix but it’s worth a try if you are having issues.
