Cloud

Kicked out of the game. Now I can't restore progress, it throws errors. I cleared the cache, reinstalled the app, rebooted the phone, reinstalled Facebook - nothing helps. It doesn't give access to the cloud, it constantly writes an error. Accordingly, even starting to play from scratch - there is no access to the ship. No manipulations help.

    Replying to my own post - it magickally started back working yesterday evening.  I got a response to my ticket - apparently one hand doesn't know what the other is doing because he asked all about was I using an emulator, blah blah blah, etc. and this was after it already was fixed. It would be nice if EA could at least send a message ingame or somehow to say that "sorry, our Cloud servers are down and we are working on restoring service" rather than having all of us pull out our hair trying to figure out what we can do to fix the problems.

  • Exactly the same thing for me.  It started out that the connection got slower and slower each time, until finally it would not connect at all.  I turned off auto cloud save just in case. I tried all the same things you did, and every solution I could find online.  Nothing has worked.  I am able to play the game and it is obviously connected to that somehow, but no connection to the Cloud and of course no Party Boat.  It is a bit of comfort to know I am not the only one, but I wish they would fix the problem.  I've checked to see if their servers are down and nothing shows being down.  Obviously that does not show the status of the Cloud server(s). It would be helpful if EA would at least respond.  I put in a ticket.
