Lost Neighbors - Fresh install and still no neighbors

So, I was having issues with the party boat not connecting. After researching, I took the following actions:

1. Check login screen

Go to your Account Management screen to see if your Facebook profile is logged in. If not, try logging in from here.

2. Reboot your device

If logging in from the Account Management screen doesn't correct the issue, you may need to try powering off your device for a few minutes. Check your Account Management screen again when you turn it back on to see if it has kept your logged in.

3. If the first 2 steps fail, please try the following...

For Facebook login issues, please try carefully following these steps to disconnect your account and log back in: 
1. Log in to Facebook on a computer 
2. Go to this link (your Facebook App Center): http://www.facebook.com/appcenter/my
3. Find the name of the game application (Real Racing 3, Sims FreePlay) in the list and click on the "settings" link 
4. Scroll to the bottom of the settings options and choose "remove app" to de-authorize the application from connecting to your Facebook account 

This will have disconnected your Facebook account from the game.

Now: 
1. Force close all apps running on your device, including the game
2. Turn your device off, then turn it on again after a few seconds 
3. Open the game again and go to your Account Manager from the options menu 
4. Log in to your Facebook account (you will need to approve permissions for the game application again) 

This should reconnect your Facebook account to the game again and log it in properly. 

This did not resolve the issues, so I then uninstalled my Facebook app from my device, then rebooted and reinstalled Facebook and Sims Freeplay. 

I'm now able to connect using facebook, but my 17+ neighbors are still missing and I'm not able to INVITE neighbors through Facebook (they click my invite and it sends them to the App in Google Playstore). I also have tried having my facebook friends send me requests ---- and clicking on those requests takes me to the App at Google Playstore.

I'm VERY FRUSTRATED and after several days with no solution in sight, I have no RESET my game, uninstalled it, and have started over ----- still with no neighbors and no ability to add any.

    This time it is on FB

    FB did a purge of inactive neighbours

    log out of FB

    Ask your friends to log in to the game

    log back in

    If your friends do not log into the game, they won't show

    If you have issues contact FB support

    I did all of that as well, several times over, have sent emails to three different places, E.A., Firemonkeys and Origin.  Also contacted a couple of Facebook pages about Sims Freeplay.  Not getting anywhere. People have even tried adding me new on Facebook and Sims Freeplay invites only take me to E.A. page on my Nexus 7.

    I'm having the same problem and not getting a reply back from tech-support nowhere. For an app this huge the tech-support sucks!! Clearly they don't know how to resolve issues or they just don't give a *. I'm having other issues with the game also and no help with them problems either. If I don't get it fixed soon I know I won't be spending any more of my money on this game !!

    I have been playing sims FreePlay for over 2 years and was on level 52 I had lots of neighbours then suddenly the6 were gone, I googled how to rectify this problem I uninstalled my game and reinstalled but still no neighbours, when I click on account management there is no button to log in to Facebook which I e never had to do before how can I put this right I’m now starting the game again on level 1 as 8 couldn’t ge5 my original game back help is needed 😱

    Sul sul, @jilkythorn.

    Hmm, the option to link it back with Social features should be available early on in the game after reinstalling. The only exception is if you set your age as a child's age, which then restricts the game from accessing social features.

    If you hit the [...] button in the bottom right of the screen, do you see a blue keyhole type icon in the lower right section of the Options screen? If so, what do you see when you select that keyhole icon?

    I’ve done all of this.  I’ve been playing this game for several years and now have NO neighbors.  Come on, get your act together and solve this problem.

    @minicha-in It isn't a truth, that inactive players were dismissed. The problem is regarding all games, disappeared there are also active players. The problem is after the page Facebook. Unfortunately their support isn't answering notifications.

    Hey @renateczka  this would be a Facebook issues and outside of our support. 

    So we can only recommend that players reach out to Facebook support regarding this. 

    Recommend to try what @minicha-em said above.
