multi story renovations quest won't finish

i'm in the multi story renovations quest - craft 1st set of woodworking items.

My sims have board with nail, pine oakio, lil ole smokey, 2 bit wooden hammer, simcity turbine replica and sammy splinters.

Shouldn't this fulfill this task?

i tried switching my sims to a different hobby and then changing it back to woodworking, but it didn't work. I seem to be stuck in this quest

I disconnected and connected again and it is still the same.
