Progressing Rustic Acres in Sims Free play

Is anyone having issues with clearing thornes on rustic acres development site? Every time I click on thorns, my sim can’t get there and there is no obstacles around them. I’ve done everything else. Any insight or work around?

    Trying to get this done so I can get the extra zesty prize. I’m sure others are having this issue please help.!!!
