Had to reset my phone unexpectedly so i wasn't able to save my game to the cloud. With the new format (visiting neighbors), is it possible to recover the data from the cloud? The last update broke my game anyway so I'm not sure what data there would be.

Your save data is available for up to six months from the time that you uploaded it last so you should be able to recover your last update.
Here is some information regarding the latest version of the Cloud:
The Neighbors Update (version 3.7) has brought a number of changes, including some changes to the Cloud that we hope will greatly benefit many of you.Please have a look at the information below on the changes we have made to make the Cloud simpler to use and more accessible:
- We have changed the way the Account Manager works, which should help keep all of your accounts logged in. 
- Cloud saves now also support Game Center accounts (iOS only) if you do not have a Facebook account. Just make sure that your Game Center account is logged in from the Account Manager menu, then go to the Cloud menu within the Sims FreePlay to upload your save data.
- Your save data will now be uploaded to the Cloud automatically every time you access the party boat. This will also update your town on the servers, for when your friends want to visit you!
- You still have the option to manually upload your save data to the Cloud at any time if you wish, by tapping on the Cloud in the options menu and choosing "Upload save data". If your current save data on the Cloud is up to date with what's on your device, it will let you know in the information window on this screen. 
- The Cloud is now cross platform compatible! This means that if you are using version 3.7 of the Sims FreePlay and later, you are able to transfer your save data between Android, iOS and Amazon devices. You will see these options available to you when you open the Cloud menu from the Sims FreePlay options.
