Re: I want to make a building quest but i cant because i have a bumpy ride quest

Game version don't really matter when the quest have been out for years and wont go away until it is done

The girl who games covers both FreePlay (this game) and mobile

You should look at her posts for FreePlay, especially quests

She's lazy when it comes to updating her "update page"

Here's her Eco lifestyle event

But that won't apply to the main and discovery quests as they are permanent

The people in the park will not go anywhere until you've done their quests and they will not start until you talk to them

You did not include a screencap of the actual message of "3 days left" so I don't know what that is about

Probably the Live event or Simchase or Snow Problem

You don't seem to see the difference between

--- Main quests - required quests you need to get to the life orbs and unlock everything on the map - they will be there until you've done them all, they will never go away until they are done

--- Discovery quests - bonus quests that will unlock features and hobbies - they will be there until you have done them all, they will never go away until they are done

 - even if the timer runs out on main and discovery quests, they still have to be done to progress to the next, you will miss the extra prize if you run out of time, that is all

--- Events, Simchase, Seasonal Quests, Favourite quests, simtown market - timed bonus prizes, specific dates, read the News here about the events in the latest update (we're currently in the Eco Lifestyle Update)

- when the time runs out on Events, Simchase, Seasonal Quests, Favourite quests, simtown market, it is over, you keep what you earned so far but you are not allowed to finish

Events, Simchase, Seasonal Quests, Favourite quests, simtown market, might return so you get a second chance of getting the prizes you didn't manage to earn

You can only do one Main quest at a time - there are break point where there is no timer running, or if you don't like the bonus timed prize, let the time run out and do events or a discovery quest, until you're ready to do main quests again

You can only do one discovery quest at a time - choose carefully which you want to do and when

You can do multiple events at a time

You can do a main, a discovery and 4 events, simtown market and working to complete three professional work places at once

That would be too much for me

Not enough sims and not enough time to do it all

I am currently doing events and one professional workplace. Main and discovery quests can wait, I am in no hurry, they will be there when I am ready for them.

Read ahead, what is required of the quests and events you're about to start. How many sims will be involved, how much time will it take and so on. Will it trigger another timed quest immediately upon completion? Do you have time for that? How long until you get a break?

The girl who games can really help with that

She explains it better than I can

    "produce market live event"

That does not mention the park at all or Bree

It does not say "quest" either, it says "event"

Learn the difference of the game features

    • Main quest - required, permanent - can only be done one at a time
    • Discovery quest - bonus quests, permanent - can only be done one at a time, choose carefully which one you want to do and when
    • Hobby - a way to earn simoleons, town value and/or LPs, permanent

These will have a time limit for extra prizes. Even if you miss the deadline, you're allowed to finish and get the featured prize but you'll miss out on the extra prize

    • Live event - crafting, time limited, specific, set dates ( ex 12th - 29th of Month) - see blogs, either the girl who games or EAs
    • Seasonal quest - Long special quest, time limited, specific, set dates  - see blogs, either the girl who games or EAs
    • Player Favourite quest - Long special quest, time limited, specific, set dates  - see blogs, either the girl who games or EAs
    • Hobby event - time limited, specific, set dates  - see blogs, either the girl who games or EAs
    • Sim Chase - time limited, specific, set dates  - see blogs, either the girl who games or EAs
    • Simtown Market Event - every Tuesday at professional work places, runs a week
    • Maternity events - time limited

These will have a time limit. You keep what you have earned but you are not allowed to finish and you'll miss the featured prize and prizes not earned on the way to the featured prize for this round

These will most likely return so you get a second chance of getting the featured prize

    You can simultaneously do

    • A main quest
    • A discovery quest
    • All unlocked hobbies
    • A live event
    • A hobby event
    • Simtown market event
    • Seasonal quest
    • Sim chase
    • Maternity event

One or two, possible three at a time is reasonable, otherwise you won't have enough sims or time to complete any of it

On top of this you have the weekly tasks that will give you a key, Social Tasks and possibly professional workplaces to upgrade

Trying to do it all at once will only lead to missing prizes as it can not be done with a limited number of sims and time ( a simchase requires up to 28 sims at a time, a live event requires 13 sims at a time, the maximum number of sims in a town is 38 at VIP 15, lvl 55 (without purchasing extra sims), 28 +13 is 41 and then I only listed two things out of all the thing you can do simultaneously

It is not a race to finish as soon as possible

Choose what you want to do and when, as regard to main, discovery and hobbies.

Before you start, research what each quest, hobby, event requires and see if you want to put in the time, effort and money to do it - use the blogs to see what it takes

If the prizes in an event don't appeal to you, don't do it

If an extra prize in a main/discovery quest or hobby don't appeal to you, don't stress and don't try to make it in time

    Good luck
