You have to have a baby to complete this quest. Once you aged the baby to a toddler the nanny goes away. I think she will come back if you get another baby.

Problem is the baby is no where close to being a toddler. Guess I will just have to wait.

Hi and I am trying to finish nanny knows best,and I am trying to put my infant in a high chair and my sims(not one would budge) won't do it will have an icon of footsteps and they make a noise. What should I do?

Make sure the highchair is not against a wall. The sim has to put the baby in from the back if the chair. I've added a graphics of how I've placed my chair.
