Glad I came here before downloading. I knew it. So here we are, a new update and the same problems. I don’t feel like being locked out of the game for 2 weeks again so I’m going to pass on this update for now. Why does this keep happening Sims Freeplay?!

Same problem here
this has been an ongoing problem for the last few months, but since this new update the game is completely unplayable on iPad.
Please find below a link to a report that I previously posted, but never received a response to

Device: iPad (9th Generation)
OS Version: iPadOS 26.5
Issue:
Since a recent update, Sims FreePlay has been crashing frequently on my iPad.
The crashes happen randomly when entering lots and can also be reproduced by repeatedly switching between Store tabs. During testing, I was able to open all Store tabs successfully, but the game consistently crashed around the third cycle of switching through them. I tested this after disabling Auto Cloud Save as suggested on the forum, but the crashes continued.
Troubleshooting already completed:
- Graphics are set to Classic.
- Enhanced Visuals are not available on this device (A13 GPU).
- Auto Cloud Save has been turned OFF.
- The issue continues to occur.
- The game lighting/visual appearance changed around the same time the crashes started.
Additional information:
- The same save file works correctly on my iPhone XR running iOS 18.7.9.
- Crashes are not limited to one specific lot and appear random.
- The issue began after a recent update, although I am unsure whether it was triggered by a Sims FreePlay update or an iPadOS update.
This appears to be a compatibility or stability issue affecting this device rather than a corrupted save file.
Any assistance or update on this issue would be appreciated
Thank you.

Since this recent update today, the problem is even worse, and of I am able to open the game at all, it crashes on first or second action
