When I click on cloud only option I get is save current is there a way to go back to old data

You will need to delete the game app and reinstall it. When you get to the part where it asks if you want to start a new game or load from the cloud pick cloud. If you saved your game after you deleted your sim you will not get your sim back.
I think it would really be easier for you to just start a new sim. It does not take long to get your sims progress back and you will earn more XPs and a couple of LPs that way. Just a suggestion.
