iOS sims freeplay not working after update

I’ve updated my iPad to ipadOS 26.4 and now my sims freeplay game won’t work. It keeps canceling my progress and force closing.  Please please please help me fix it. I have invested a lot of time and money into this game and my time limited quests are now going to be an automatic failure because it’s not working.
