"To ensure your Sims actions will be preserved, do not exit the game via the "Save and exit" button.
To safely exit the game, simply suspend the application (by pressing your home button on your device), or force close the application through your Operating System's Options."

Yes. Don't use the 'Save and Exit' option. Just suspend the application (by pressing home button on your phone). This has solved my issue and I haven't experienced it again. 🙂
Yes! it actually worked! but i have yet to see how long it's gonna save my progress because it did it before where it would save my progress for the last 5 hours and then it would look like it was cancelled. but it seems to be working so far. thanks!! never thought of that trick. 🙂
There's no trick in it. Just press the home button on your phone.
I've tried this solution on my android tablet and it doesn't work. I've also tried uninstalling and reinstalling multiple times and now the game will not even load at all...I'm quitting.
If you're having problems with the game and none of the suggestions are working, you might want to contact support.
