But what about all the other timed quests that are only 1 timers?? They still do not give enough time. The sunset mall timed quest to get the teen clothes or whatever asked me to upgrade the mall to the 2nd story when i couldn't even unlock the 1st oart of the mall at the time so i got nothing from that event. The mansion timed quest asked me to do it within the time limit to get the elevators and spiral staircase and they only gave me a few hours for that one so i did not get anything from that quest either. The snow park quest asked me to do something in the time limit to get skating rink stuff and they did not give me enough time to do that either so i could not get any of that stuff. And then the pool quest asked me to do the pool quest in the time limit to get pool slides and ladders or whatever for my own pool and i coul not get any of that stuff either. Alot of these timed quests seem to either not give enough time or expect you to have ALOT of free time in your real life in order to get things done in the time limit. But for those of us that work or have school courses or busy schedules these time limits are pretty impossible without spending real money if you do not have lifestyle points. - martha48589 years agoSeasoned Ace
Here is a link that gives walk throughs on all the quests and also has tips on how to get LPs without spending real money. https://thegirlwhogames.wordpress.com/sims-freeplay/quests/

Thanks i will take a look at it. But all advice and suggestions and tips are welcome. At the same time even if people do not make the timed quest requirements we should still be able to buy the items for simoleons or real money just so we do get access to it whether we got it for free or just bought it. At least then we would be supporting the game devs by giving them money for the exclusive items and not having to get a little disappointed we didnt get what everyone else was able to get. Then its fair for everyone and everyone is happy. And from what i have read online they USED to make it so you can buy the items if you did not make the time limit but i think they stopped doing that because after the last few quests the timed limit items were not in the store after the event so i guess they stopped allowing users to buy the items which sucks. - ApprovedAnonymous9 years ago
I'm experiencing the same frustration!!
I've been working on getting the Homestead furniture pack: woodworking.... 12 items unlocks a type of furniture/decor. Yes, it's 10 days longs. BUT.. The odds are NOT set up to get a new woodworking item even every other time. I started off with two Sims doing the hobby. Then, I purchased more LPs (real money) to quicken the process. Then I switched three more sims into woodworking hobby. I'd say the average success ratio is 1:5 sometimes 1:6 times that a new item is found! This is ridiculous. These are terrible odds, especially given that I've spent close to $40 on LPs. I'm fine with the money since it supports the game, but the odds are getting worse! Completely unfair! This game used to be fun and relaxing. I've restarted my current town and on level 40. My past town that I deleted was up to level 55. But I'm ready to bail for the "ungameliness" of getting these packs.

The event will come around again. Try using 10 or more sims on the hobby to get all the furniture.

The second time they brought the event back was a while ago so it is unlikely they will bring it back, which is annoying as I was on level ten when I did this event.
- @RJEB1 It’s so annoying and very UNFAIR!
