For a few days now, I haven’t been able to collect resources as my nurse sim stops the above action halfway through and I can’t complete the task. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app and restarting my phone but nothing works. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

I'm sorry to hear that the task is being problematic. It's great that you've already tried uninstalling and reinstalling, as well as power cycling your phone, as that gives us a good baseline for troubleshooting. Before we continue, can you share some information regarding your phone?
Additionally, would you be able to test this on another device, to cover that base as well? I'd love to hear how it behaves on a second device.

I’ve tried it on my iPad but I’m still having the same issue.
I have an iPhone 7 and the iOS version is 12.2
This might not work, but you can try
When you set the task, leave the hospital and do not return until the task is done - you can see in the sim tracker when the nurse is done
This have worked for me in the past - not always but still worth a try, right?
