SimChase glitch

Hi everyone,   

I wanted to report an issue I ran into during the latest SimChase event. I had been completing the daily tasks for many days to win the prizes, but on the final day I got home late from work and couldn’t open the game during the day to finish the last task in time.

Normally, when this happens and you miss the deadline, the game shows a pop-up offering to buy the missed prize with Social Points. I was fully ready to do that. But this time, when I opened the game, the quest screen just told me I had missed the prize of the day — and the window to purchase it never opened. I tapped on it like I always do, but nothing came up, and the event simply closed. No option to buy anything at all.

The frustrating part is that my daughter playing the same event at the same time on an Android (Samsung) device did get the pop-up offering to buy all the missed prizes — but on my iPad it never appeared. So it seems like this is a glitch affecting some devices and not others.

Because of this, I missed the new prize I really wanted (the museum lot with the dinosaur exhibits 🦕).

Is anyone else experiencing this? And would it be possible for the team to either bring the event back or make an online packs with this items , I would buy in immediately. Please look into this issue, I’d really appreciate any help 💕
