Hi, in my Sims FreePlay game on I0S Oct 16th around 4pm MST I had a Senior Sim ready to “move on”, and when I clicked the command to have her go, I get the following pop up message. I thought it was maybe a glitch so just reset her back to the start of her Senior years cycle, and that worked fine. I had a second character around 10pm this evening have the same situation, same pop up message and I can’t get him to move on. Any help would be appreciated!
This happens when trying to send a Sim out of town, too. When trying to move her to the afterlife, it wasn’t possible either.
Friends of mine also ran into this issue.
The affected games are played on iOS 17.7.10, iOs 18.7.1, iOS 26.1, Android 15 and Android 16.
Other players using the same OS don’t have this issue.
I’ve already posted this on the SFP discord channel a few days ago, but didn’t get a reply, yet.
My senior SIMS won’t move on. It comes up with a notification saying it is needed for a tutorial. But there is no tutorial. I’ve tried restarting game and it still comes up . I now have 2-3 sims waiting to move on but can’t.

Hi. I raised this issue in the EA help chat a few days ago and finally got a response that said
we’re aware of an issue where some players with older save files (who competed an older version of the tutorial quest) can’t remove sims right now. The team is looking into a hot fix to fix this soon, no confirmed date yet, but it’s on the way.

I am on level 51, almost 52…and out of nowhere this happened. The majority of my Sims are old, as I’ve been grinding to get life orbs. However, now I can’t make any of them pass on; it’s saying: “[Sim] is required for the tutorial. Complete more tasks before removing this Sim.” I don’t have a tutorial though? I’ve had the road task for over a year at this point, so I don’t think it would be an issue—I just keep putting it off (and I only play 3-7 weeks a year haha)—right? If someone could explain what this is and/or how to fix it. I would delete the Sims and hope that the new Sims would age and die fine (if that even happens because I don’t have a tutorial), but I would hate to waste over 20 life orbs.

I’m also having the same problem. My sims can’t die of old age and they can’t move on with orbs. And I have the max amount of sims :( I tried everything and I think we just need to wait for them to fix it
