Yes this is the exact same behavior mine has. I can delete the app and reload everything, but then after about 2 minutes it crashed to my phones home screen. Then, like yours, when I go to open the app again, it immediately crashes.
I have an open ticket right now with EA on the issue and have given them detailed information about this. If you havent yet, I would reach out to them as well....the more people reporting this, the better!
I also have a ticket in. I hope they fix it or I’ll miss both quests. I haven’t had issues in a long time with FreePlay. I really didn’t miss trying to get my game fixed. I’m at least glad it isn’t just me. I wonder if it’s everyone with IPhones?
Since this morning, I can’t even load Sims FreePlay at all. It just keeps crashing. I’m going to lose all my bonuses from my café and my login bonuses. Please help! Thanks!!
