Social Points Only for VIPs... New Capsule Features Sucks

That sucks. Bad, EA. bad bad bad! How am I supposed to finish the crafting challenges if I can’t convert my hobby LPs to SPS? I just basically spent a ton of time doing hobbies for nothing. The game team said Let’s make the game more annoying.

I agree, it's very disappointing. No way to convert LPs into SPs anymore. They really do want to alienate their own players, including long-term players – by taking away all options of mastering the game except spending money. 

With every update it seems like the devs are determined to make the game harder, more expensive and less enjoyable to play. Many of us were unhappy with them taking away our home garden patches for growing simoleons (I still hate the community garden), and now these simoleon/lp/sp capsules.  Why keep “fixing” things that aren’t broken. It also seems like they pay absolutely no attention to the stuff we all ask for over and over and over again, like more Sims to fill all those empty houses.  I keep hanging in with Sims Freeplay because I’ve been playing for such a long time, but even so, I’m starting to feel like a fool to keep playing.  They really don’t care about their very loyal fan base. Kinda sad. 

Fully agreed! Just make it so that we can buy the SP capsules with 20 LPs the way we were able to exchange them with the flower! I am a VIP but the results from 1 SP capsule per day still don't cut it when it comes to completing craft challenges or even SIM chases!

I literally put in so many hours playing the earn LP's "offer games". Specifically so I can use the LP's to earn SP's and now thats just gone. Not to mention had my bank account hacked by one of the offers they have available. Do not try the Spoiled Child offer just FYI. 

I’m at a loss for words. It would be one thing if they then lowered the required number of Social Points to progress through certain things and events but that doesn’t seem to be the case. How can you really and truly progress when you earn 1 to 2 Social Points at a time through neighbor tasks yet takes hundreds for certain things? Honestly, what round table of people signed off on this? It’s a punishment, not an update.

It is a ploy to make people spend more money, it is very frustrating. Even if one is already at a high VIP level - looks like they’re already getting tinged with the unethical essence of the new buyers of EA. If this continues, they will lose players, there are some other Sim like games coming out, and they should be supported.

I'm very upset 😠 I'm just finding out today while playing the game that I can no longer use LP to purchase SP. So I Google why I couldn't do that anymore and I came across this forum. Thank you for expressing the way you feel I am definitely in the same boat with you.  I'm not going to lie it hurt my feelings 😞

Yes!!! And I use to get the 3 grass hoppers often, now all this work and I only get 2 or 3 coins per ever 450 candles! Seems predatory to me, like they are trying to force money out of us! The economy is already messed up and we are on a brink of WW3 and they want all our money too! SHAME EA Sports

this is the first time I’ve ever written a post about this game. If they don’t revert this feature somehow, I think it may be time for me to stop playing this game altogether at last. I refused to pay for social points period. Developer needs to give us the option to convert LPs to SPs.
