I had to go through the chat and have them escalate my issue. Then they sent me an email offering a goodwill grant, aka subsidy. They gave me the same excuse, that they cannot retrieve saved game data, which makes no sense because, what's the point of saving the game if it can't be retrieved?
I accepted the goodwill grant (if you look up the grant, there is absolutely NO info, not even on reddit) so I might not be allowed to say what it was, but they added 1M simoleons, about 100 LP, and maybe 30 or 40 SP to my game. It doesn't give me back the prizes I unlocked and then lost, but at least I can rebuild one of the houses I lost.
