Sims freeplay app won’t launch

Question

I play the Sims free play on my iPhone ex S which is updated and I continuously update the game as they come out as well. All of a sudden a few days ago the app started crashing whenever I tried to launch it, immediately. And yet if I get on my iPad where I have the same game it works just fine. My iPad and iPhone are both updated to the same iOS. i’ve tried deleting the app, shutting my phone off, reinstalling the app... Multiple times. It still won’t work on my phone, which is where I play the game because I don’t take my iPad with me everywhere and I also don’t have a way to play without WiFi on it. Normally I play with or without WiFi on my phone. I’m so frustrated and I’m not going to be able to complete tasks or quests on time like this.&nbsp;

How much free space do you have on your phone?
That would be my first guess on what might cause the crash, compare it to the iPad
Some games requires a ridiculous amount of free space - device space, not SDcard space, and our phones are often crammed with other apps we need in our lives, not just games, so at least in my experience the iPad have more free space than the phone

You said both devices have the same iOS but not what that iOS is, is it 10, 11, 12, 13?
I know there are issues with both the really old (before 10) and 13 that is very new, I don't think it's the iOS but just want to be able to rule that out

I’m still having the same problem except for every time I reinstall it I can play it for maybe 30 minutes or so and then it crashes again. I lose progress every single time even though I am saving to the cloud as regularly as I can. The game is pretty much unplayable now and I’ve spent a lot of money and time on it.

I have a ton of free space on my iPhone. I have almost no free space on my iPad. So, that is definitely not the problem. I have updated to the most recent operating system for iPhone and both the iPad and my phone, and the trouble started not long after that. As of yesterday evening my iPad now is having the same exact problem where the game will not launch at all, just goes to the EA screen and then crashes.

Few days ago my app wouldn't let me download back and I did clear apps for storage but, each time i keep downloading it back it refuses to download again i wasn't sure why,

I’m extremely frustrated as the app will not launch on my iPhone or my iPad, no matter how many times I try to delete it and restart and do all the things people have suggested. I put a lot of time and money into that. I can’t be the only person having this problem..right?
