Sims stopping actions
This is NOT due to the 'Save and Exit' button; I always quit by suspending the app.
Even though I do this, nearly every time I re-enter the game during a time limited event (especially when there's another coming up), all my sims actions have been cancelled. It happened to me during the love island event and is now happening for the Easter event! I only need three more eggs, and my sims have stopped searching for them FOUR TIMES! All since the chocolatier event has been announced.
Is there any way to stop this? I'm sick and tired of never being able to finish events within the time limit simply because the app isn't working properly.

Contact support through the help link in the game. Make sure you tell them that you are not exiting through the save and exit.
