SP glitch AGAIN!

So, I just spent SP to complete a neighbourhood task at Palm Promenade. The SP came off my total, the activity shows as complete in the task list, but my Sim is still twittering away at their task. This is the third SP error I've had to report in as many weeks! By the time someone gets back to me in the chat, the Sim will have completed the task time-wise but I want the SP back... I have sent over screenshots but the in-game chat responses are always vague and unhelpful. Getting a bit bored of these issues. Anyone else had a similar problem?
