Where is the dog and cat I just bought?

I just bought a promotion pack from the store that included a Dalmatian and a cat along with some pet items. It said payment successful. Now where can I find them? They are not in my Sims inventory and they are not at the pet store. how do I place them in the game? Any help is appreciated thanks
