Winter wonderland quest

I was playing the winter wonderland quest on sims free play and the time ran out, I was under the impression that I was still able to complete the quest but I wasn't able to receive the gingerbread house which I was fine with, so I didn't use my token and now the quest is over and I wasn't able to receive the items for my ice house. In many other quests I was able to complete it but I didn't receive the limited time prize
