I understand that moving the Kits to the Marketplace is to allow ease of access; from the pricing options it looks like Kits won't change in price. We also will not have to completely reload the game...

Kits will be the same price but you can't buy 4.99 of moola, you'll always be left with excess incentivising you to buy more moola to buy more things, it's the typically underhanded money-grubbing practices you should expect from EA. I'd recommend you use your purchasing power and refuse to get anything through the Marketplace.
