It is brought up every once in a while (on the Sims 4 forums) having a second chance on old pack Limited Edition items, even if it was at the cost of purchasing. I admit I do want some, that I wasn't around for, either before I started playing, or if I was on a break.
Do you think they will take the hint, and make these available to buy?
There's mods out there that unlock these items. 🙂

I would honestly love to have the items from the LE in my game, not as cc. I think that's what the marketplace would provide -- official in-game content. On a PC, with no mods, the sims 4 wasn't working properly for me at times and I missed out on some of the last Log-in rewards and the Grim Reaper's reward events. Would love to buy for ... 20 cents ... moola lol. (I do wish they granted content creators a 70/30 split opposite-ways).
Edit: Please, EA, allow me to purchase the LE's with Moola. I would really appreciate it, as the game didn't work properly during my LE's depsite being on PC with no mods. It just wouldn't work, and I was penalized :'( and I want Grim's Cruiser and the Donation Library.
All these items are in the basegame files so everybody already got them, just it's the access is granted or denied by EA account.
But it could change with the arrival of the Marketplace, it could become like TS3 with items claimed at TS3 Store.
I mean I rather have it officially, and not as cc and not a mod work-around. So I hope so!

The LE items can be overpriced as much as they want because the value is the time limitation. I don't know about other players' feelings. But I believe that there are a lot of people who got TS4 after the release of Cottage Living, the first EP that had LE items. And I was fortunate that I returned to TS4 when this EP was released.
So, even though I had all of them, I wanted to add the voice to support selling LE items.

There was some Sims 3 LEs I would have almost re-bought a pack to get the LE Pack (my first pack (Supernatural) was a hardcopy I saw at Best Buy display, and gatewayed me into Sims 3, I didn't know there was LEs back then) but that was too steep for a handful of LE items, but I would have paid more than if it was just a regular store item.
I think Moola compensation for pre-orders is helpful, if there are sour players who do think they should be compensated, if it is alternate form of getting a once LE/pre-order item.
I was hoping they would release those limited-edition bonus items for sale. I’ll buy them as long as they aren’t too pricey.
