I've been wishing they did something like this with all the other switches we have in the game as well but considering they have no plans on bringing new gameplay to Maker Packs I cannot see it happening 😢
If the light switches get on option to turn lights on or off, it should consistent for all light switches in the game. We have light switches in the American powerset but also in the European powerset, the bathroom clutter kit and the cozy kitch kit. I believe there is even one in base game.
