I've been always excited with upcoming STS events. Some of the prizes has same function with items that we've already had. But I can't wait another items though, like the sun lounge and ground light. That's new! And also the luxurious fireplace and ceiling light❤
But, seems I don't like the girl haircut prize. That's similar with the curly haircut which we can buy with real money. So sad, my sims' curly long haircut won't be looked outstanding again ☹️
I‘m actually 100% for the repeat prizes! It sucks to think that if you haven’t played the game in a bit (or if you’re a new player) you’ve missed out on all sorts of cool STS items that you may never have a chance to get again. ☹️ I think it’s nice to have new things for regular users but also have 1 or 2 throwbacks for new/inconsistent users as well! 🙂
And since the showdowns are great for earning simoleans, cash, tickets etc super fast - then anyone who isn’t feeling the prizes can just play for those instead
