A new Sweet Treat Showdown event starts the 19th of January 10:00 a.m. PT. Event duration: 11 days. There will be two packs available to purchase with tokens during the event. This is what my friend's list look like in my game:Every STS that we do, I lose around 10 to 15 people each time. I used to have 49 active players. A lot of people don't play anymore since STS started. We all know what's going down with this event. We are not blind, we love this game, but they don't like what's going on so they stopped playing, we stop buying packs and be miserable. I want this game to be as great as it USED to be. We want fair events with predictable outcomes that everyone can achieve not just luck based. The only people loving this event are the hackers, the people who figured it out and are able to get the grand prize without losing too much simoleons and no simcash. But then you also have the other half of people like me who constantly lose, and spend a lot of simcash (if they are going for the grand prize). You feel like a failure, and then you get depressed. Games should make you feel happy and you should have fun. Unfortunately STS does not do it for the majority of people. Please stop doing STS and let's have fun again.😍

I’m done with Laundry 2.0 and I’m really hoping that laundry event won’t be a trilogy 🤭 I played with sugar cubes only and was extremely successful in burning stuff: 2/3 challenges failed 🔥 This is my personal record 🏆😬 I was trying different kinds of techniques and wasn’t really playing safely. 😎 Laundry reloaded statistics from my game:- 7 round challenges: 14- 9 round challenges: 12- 10 round challenges: 8+ tutorial round - 20 burned desserts- opened 45/60 boxes I think this was the first time I wasn’t chasing the royal tokens since I didn’t care for the prizes. I was annoyed towards the end that I was missing the rug and had to get all the colors of buckets, clothes piles and such before I got one rug. I was mostly bored during this event.. and annoyed with the challenges and the swatches. I’m hoping there’ll be a nice Valentine’s event but most likely it’s Wumples on Saturday and another 15 day STS starting next week. 🥱 Some kind of update is coming tho... Lets see what happens 🤞

I hope the next event is not STS. It's clearly going to be Valentine's Day related. Good thing I did the Valentine's quest last year so I have Valentine's Day decorations for my house, this is just getting more ridiculous every single time we do this event. I don't even go for the grand prize anymore, I don't want to spend any simcash and then be disappointed on how much simcash I spend on each event. I hope firemonkeys realizes that people are getting bored and broke from these events. And this is coming from people who actually finish the events. I go to parties with people who have the grand prizes in their homes from these events and they are saying that they're bored of them.

When I saw the prizes I was thinking ‘another rug, hamper and sink’ but after seeing items at a party I would have to say that those are nice looking prizes. But still... it’s another rug, hamper and sink 😆 I don’t have the washer, so not really keen on getting the dryer and ironing is something I avoid. 😄I don’t love the prizes or hate them.. it’s just bland.. 🤷♀️ I would like now an event which is fun to do.. keeping fingers crossed for Valentine’s 🤞

@SalixCat thank you Cat, I am glad that they brought brought back the packs, that is what I'm going to be aiming for. These packs are great for people like me who are not interested in the grand prize.

@SalixCatDid you know that only the western states of Australia observe Daylight Savings Time? This is what I learned from Google today. This might explain why these events actually happen at 9 a.m. instead of 10 a.m. PT.

@SalixCat Thanks for the info. Could I quickly check if it’s only 11 days instead of 15? The fan fave quest there says duration is 15 days but your post says 11.

@givememore86 There's a few states in Australia that have daylight savings. Western Australia are behind every state in Australia by a few hours.
I'm in South Australia 😊😊😊
I'm still not sure the time the events actually start for us, as we are a day ahead of everyone else in the world

@SalixCat do you know if the two short events equal a standard or long event?
@GracieSeven it seemed to take about a day and a half to two days before those packs come in. That's what happened the last time they had 11 event. But I believe the timer still going even though we don't see it.
