The Winter warm-up event is coming back the 3rd of may 2020. Event duration: 7 days.
The beach towels, reward of step 1 produce 125 duckies each 12 hours so remember to take them out of inventory ...

Gosh I just realized when I started the event I have a couple of color swatches that I didn't get last time around 20 (not so important)! Anyhoo, I enjoy getting the illuminated wall, simoleons & can't remember if I got Simcash yet?! I also hope I get the regal hot tub which I didn't get last time.

Well i have noticed something which really disappoints me a bit and makes it harder to get the golden hot tub:
In the older events there was a number limit for the rare items (for this event it was 2 normal hot tubs two stars limit).
If you got two of them you would get the golden one then.
Now it is that you can get unlimited normal hot tubs and they come again and again ...
What should i do with them now?
I do not need thousands of them...it had been more fair if you automaticly would get then the golden one after a limit of the two stars hot tubs...
Same if you allready got the golden hot tub and missing now the two stars hot tub.
I am thankfully that EA and Firemonkeys brought this event back. Really!💖💕
But why was this changed? It makes it terriible hard now to get the three stars hot tub. ..i got 3 normal whirpools now.
And the most worse is i got the golden one my game crashed and i lost it..it was gone....😑😑😑😑.😭😭😭😭
I opened a ticket and told it but idk if they will give it to me.....
Well 5 days left i really hope i will get it or that Firemonkeys will give me the lost one...

I doubt that they will give me the golden one i have lost because i have no proof of it..only have proof that i bought the eventpack.
Well i still hope they will do this.

@jayivy666 What was changed actually is that instead of getting compensation for furniture and other items or swatches of items we get now a duplicate of the item.
CAS item duplicates are still compensated in Simoleons.

But it is not good that the itemlimit of the rare items is now out.
It really makes it harder to get both sorts of the hot tubs.
And you know these type of event ment to collect it several times for the most players to complete it.
Now its only luck and its not fair like before.
I have played in the events before to get the golden one and now its changed.
I am still very sad about the lost golden hot tub ..sorry 😟💖💕I am so disappointed & aggravated that FM didn’t go with the way the “ old school” events USED to be played.
That’s why they were so much fun!I (foolishly) thought we would be able to get any remaining items or color swatches we didn’t get the first go round.... but Noooooo!
Now I’m getting even MORE duplicates to go into my already over-crowded Storage. The compensation is a nice touch but, I don’t need 3 Hot Tubs but only 3 color choices 🙄I’m happy for the newer players to get this chance, but, come on, EA, us Veteran 50+ Level players have gotten you guys to this place.
Where are our NEW. Careers, Hobby & Relationship Stories? New Heirlooms? New Izzy items?
I don’t mean to be a 🦀 about all this, but could we get updates, glitch-less game fixes & improvements before jumping into the next new shiny thing?OK, I will say one positive thing- the May the 4th event is brilliant! Thank you for that Happy Surprise
