I am having this problem too. I am at

This thread is a bit old, so let me update my previous post:
As we got your feedback that this was confusing, we worked on a list of levels so you can check in which levels you get a terrain expansion.
Please, click in the icon above your LifeStyle Rating name:
This will open the list of levels showing you in which levels terrain is unlocked (1 ), and in which ones new rooms (2 ):

I know this thread is old but I can’t find any other threads regarding this. As I ticked over to sharply sophisticated, a lifestyle level where it says I can clear land, I was already clearing land from my lifestyle level previous to sharply sophisticated. I waited until after that land was clear to clear more land from my lifestyle upgrade and it is not letting me clear the land from my lifestyle upgrade to sharply sophisticated. My player ID is 1003241239130, please help I wanna prepare to build some stuff
I wonder if the system got confused with the old land expansion. How much land have you cleared?
I’ve used all my opitunities to expand land when my lifestyle has increased up until now
