Bugs - Heirloom Not Showing Up

I've been having problems with this for awhile now. I have only a couple traits which are 3 stars flirty, 2 stars food trait, creativity and genius. I have them all in my heirloom collection case. But, for some reason when i'm choosing a trait in the trait menu for a new sim or choosing one for a old sim they all don't show up except for the 3 star flirty trait. I've tried redownloading the game and clearing my data, but it made it worse. Now, for one of sims I can't see any of her friendship stories.
I'm not sure what to do.
