In the second picture he was doing a different event. I took that image to show I can click on the balsa counter. You can speed up the step by using sim Cash. That was what I was going to do but I was not able to because it would not let me.I did not take any photos while I was having the problem because I was busy clicking the counter, the floor, the sim, anything that could help me for 10 minutes until the event expired.
I think I understand. So you clicked on the last step to complete the quest, the one that said “Mix celebratory muffins,” and it said that it would take 2h 30min and cost 10 energy to complete. You had about 2h and 10min until the quest expired and came back to the game when you had 10 mins to spare.
When you returned to the game with 10 mins left, were you looking for bubbles on the counters to click on to do the task and found none to click on — is that right? Is this when you tried everything and moved counters around trying to speed along the event?
This step would have had a little clock next to your sim’s face, and a SimCash button to rush it. Did you see that on your screen and try that option? I’m not sure if it would have cost 20SC to speed it along, even with 10 mins left, or if it would have been cheaper.
These are from RachyBop’s YouTube walkthrough. Is this the point you were at and you were actively completing this step with no way to speed it along, even by rushing it at the bottom with SimCash? Or were you unable to even get the option on the counters to do that last step of “Mix celebratory muffins”?
An action that takes 31 minutes can be sped up with 24 SM so I had enough. Yes... that clock that tells me how long will the event last and that gives me the option to finish it using sim cash did not appear for me. That’s why the last step in my quest was finished a few minutes after the quest expired.
It can be confusing because the clock does not appear automatically when I reopen the game app.
I have to tap on the Sim's portrait on the lower part of the screen in order to see the clock and eventually pay to finish the task.
I hope this feature could be somehow improved so it will become more user friendly 🙂
I tried to click the portrait and it didn’t work
Hello, I am having the same problem now. Unable to click on the counter to see how much time is left. I see the blue clock but I can’t click on it, only shows the charger bar, which I already used a cupcake on. Tried moving the counter but didn’t work.
