Clock and tickets

Two questions that are really dumb.... 1. What is the clock on the left side of the screen? 2. What are the tickets used for?

    They’re not dumb questions 💐

    If you mean the clock below, that’s how much time a selected sim has left to finish an event. 

    I hope I’ve got the following right 😅. Things like the super home tickets and sims tickets can be used towards buying furn and clothing. Heirloom tickets as the name suggests. Gems—toward Izzy fashion items. If you tap on the ticket (as below), you can see how to obtain them.

The clock I meant is all the way to the left in yellow. Usually its in days and hours. It's at the top of the screen.

    I don’t currently see that clock in my game, but from memory, it sounds like a time limited in-game sale offer. Perhaps, try tapping it to see if it brings anything up?

      Yeah that is showing you that there is a limited time offer on something. It is usually like a package or great deal on something that you can purchase (with real life money). If you click it, you will see the offer.
