As it currently stands, it's been over 3 weeks without a fix.
I created a ticket with a list of Izzy's items I'd like deleted about a week and a half ago, right before the event ended. I was told that they couldn't delete items for me, but would roll back my account by weeks to when I could delete Izzy's - thus completely deleting my progress in the event, and weeks of character progress. This is not an acceptable solution, and I see zero reason that a GM can't delete requested items. It isn't an issue in other games. Oh, and the issue with sometimes not getting weekly Izzy's gems isn't fixed either.
So, here I am, having completed every single career, hobby and relationship story available.
I have spent real money on Izzy's gems and now can't get any new items.
It's been weeks and still no solution.
EA support has proven to be less than helpful.
The result - I've gone from playing the game with gusto to barely playing. I've stopped going to parties and didn't both having one last week. I'll probably stop playing outright if this isn't fixed soon, and the poor quality of EA support really discourages me from buying the upcoming Sims 4 Seasons expac, and I have every Sims 4 expac to date.
Very disappointed.
