Saving does matter if your into retrying designs rather than making a new one. You could save 4 gems by default if not pinning anything (design, effect, trait boost).
Izzy is like a wheel of fortune. Sometimes you win awesome items, and sometimes you win not so good items.
Other players even get rares instantly with just two tries and thats only 40 gems!
Items you could get from Izzy is just a matter of chance/luck.

- Yes, unfortunately that’s how it is. I’ve had absolutely no luck with Izzy yet except for one braclet that puts a rainbow over my head lol. I’ve spent hundreds just for one decent one !
But yea I’m not really worried about it, just wondered if there was any other use for the gems themselves. It seems there isn’t so I don’t mind wasting them on Izzy at this stage
