Update: This issue has been resolved via an update to the Google Play store version of the game. Thank you for your patience while this was investigated and resolved. Hey all, Nothing new to report I'm afraid, this issue is still under investigation by the Sims Mobile team. As before, I will post any updates I get here in this thread but I wanted to let you know we haven't forgotten about you.

I am also unable to download the update. Here's the message I get:
I've tried all of the suggested ways to "fix the problem" and nothing has worked. I really dont want to uninstall and reinstall the game because I'm afraid of losing all my progress. I've played this game almost from its start and I know what it's like to lose progress and have to start over (it really sucks!).
I'm really hoping this is a bug and not a problem with my phone.

Is the game improved for Android 12?
I try all the methods you provide, nothing works, but I use my Android tablet (Samsung Galaxy tab a 2018 Android 10) the game cab be downloaded and play ,but my tablet is too old , the game experience very bad , have you considered checking whether Android 12.0 is compatible with the game ?

@Rickleeguy Good question. I'll ask if the game is optimized for Android 12. I'm on Android 10 and it works fine.

@SalixCat I didn't, but I can. I assumed it was a problem with either my phone or the app, not Google play.

The same thing happened to me. I am running Android 12 with a Pixel 4a 5g
