Not sure if the dev team already looked into the issue (I contacted regular support a few days before posting here as well), but it has been solved.

- 8 years agoI didn't do anything to fix it, it just started working normally yesterday. But today I wake up and lifestyle points are stuck on 302k now, lol. So the issue persists.

It's my understanding, from another thread on here (sorry, can't locate it quickly), that duplicate items don't give Lifestyle points. Could that be what's happening here?
I found this out when I spent a lot of my Sims' hard-earned cash on three additional Modish Chairs, to go with the one I'd aready got... and the Lifestyle meter didn't budge.
It's frustrating, given that items increase in value each time you buy them (at least those chairs did) and everything is so expensive at the higher levels anyway. My Sims certainly won't be getting any more chairs for their dinner table just yet. 🙂
