Could you guys test if force closing the game when none of your Sims are in an event helps any? It could be a few finished events pop up. If so, accept them and force close again until they stop popping up.
See if that gives any difference in the story progression.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? On one of my sims, he can't finish the work story (stuck on 94%) and one of the relationship stories is stuck on 80%. I can do tasks but it doesn't raise the percentage. The level bar is full but isn’t levelling up. It’s really frustrating so please sort this glitch, thank you 🙂
What do you expect to see? My sims with completed stories! 🙂
