Im having the exact same issue. Here is my bug report:
Product: The Sims Mobile
Platform:Android Phone
List the specific devices you play with (e.g. iPhone 6s Plus, Samsung Galaxy S7) Google pixel
OS Version Android 8.1
Player ID: (Find your Player ID in Sims Mobile: https://help.ea.com/help/the-sims/the-sims-mobile/find-your-player-id-in-the-sims-mobile ) 1003563558964
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? About two weeks ago this message appeared, along with yellow arrows pointing down to where you can complete events instantly for simcash: "When we instantly complete an event, we'll get the rewards right away!" the alert has never gone away. I tried completing a different event instantly, I tried deleting and reinstalling the app, I tried logging in from a different device. It is frozen into my view regardless. It appears at almost all times when logged into my account. The only times it does not appear is when making changes to the home or selecting an activity to complete.
What do you expect to see? I expect to no longer see the alert, it only should have appeared for a few seconds. It does not matter if I use mobile or wifi connection.

Additional feedback I know many people are experiencing this issue, it is quite annoying and has caused me to not spend money on the game.

- 8 years agoOH MY GOSH IT FINALLY WENT AWAY! Here's what happened. I started the World of Luxury event and after I had enough coins to buy an ornate box, a NEW tip popped up, in the same spot, walking me through buying an ornate box. I was very careful to follow the instructions, and when I got through the new tip successfully, the area of my screen that was stuck on the old tip was normal again!
So my advice to anyone that has problem is to start working on the world of luxury event tasks and hopefully you will also be pushed through a new tip and the stuck one will go away!- EA_Mai8 years ago
