@sindidoll @terogamusaudiHaz EA keeps records of your progress. If your logged in, EA keeps saves on their end should your game mess up and you need to go back to a prior save. If you don't stay logged in, you could loose your progress. This is an app version of the Sims 4 for PC and I don't like the save system in that game. I'm sure they can't give you the PC save version on the app. I do know as your saves get larger with the PC game your files will get larger. Phones do not have large storage like a PC. If your save takes up allot of space on your phone , you may have issues with running out of space
I didnt say anything about being logged in, just constant online mode. Saving the game every couple of seconds isnt good. I would benefit much more, without loosing significant amounts if it saved, for example every 5 minutes.
This is not in any way an app version of the sims 4. I have played sims 4 since its release and the games are not comparable, in any way other than the look of the sims.
Also I do feel that it is possible to save in the app, especially if that save could be stored on the external SD card. But thats half the issue with phones and tablets these days is the only thing companies allow to be stored on the external are photos or music, and the entire internal memory is used up with system apps and 1 or 2 additional ones, slowing down the system and leaving the external completely empty, but internal completely full. Regardless, although I certainly would think that would solve my problem, it is not what I am speaking of here. Just the ability for me to hit save myself instead of a continuous need for connection every few seconds. Or for the auto save to be less frequent so that I do not get this screen above all day/night.

It's the dumbed down version of the sims 4 on app. I own the sims 4 too. I believe many of the items that are in the sims 4 are in this mobile game however no way would it be as massive as the sims 4 and the game play is different on mobile. Being logged in I believe is being connected to EA servers. I believe what your trying to ask for is like the sims 4 where you can go in off line mode like the sims 4. Like you said the games are different.. I believe this game uses EA cloud where your game gets saved.. EA's way of tying your mobile game to origin. You need to be on line to attend parties, throw parties . You get rewards for this. . This is actually a cool part of the game . You can't build in the game like the PC sims games. This game would really be boring off line and you would be missing features. This isn't a single player game. You tie into other players on line

I really do not feel that you (Fuzzernutter) are understanding my issue at all. Comparing the game with sims 4 is not a good enough explanation as to why I need a 3-second connection check. Explaining that there are parties also is completely irrelevant. And stating that the game would be boring offline, again shows you do not understand my post. Im really happy that you must have an awesome connection (or you would understand my issue better), but your confusion over the meaning of this post is not a helpful piece of input.
I am not requesting a game redesign, nor am I requesting that it be brought in line with sims 4. They are completely different games with few similarities. What Id like to see is an update which means less need for a constant 3-second online check.
Let me put this to you... If you went abroad for a week, and your accommodation had no wifi. Would you not want to still play? So now you have to rely on mobile internet. Which as you are not in your country is poor or expensive. Fact is, you cant play. Simples. Well that poor connection is me on a daily basis. Yes Im at home, but we dont all have great internet 24/7.- 8 years ago
@sindidoll My problem is also geographical. We have access to only satellite internet which is unreliable on a good day. Mobile service is expensive and highly regulated despite all the "unlimited" hype. I feel the overall construct is terribly prejudicial, but that's another topic for another thread. ANYWAYZ...I understand and sympathize. Something tells me, however, this will probably fall relatively low on the list of issues the parent company will be willing to address in the near future. 🙁 I compensate by hot-spotting my mobile service as needed and doing as much as I possibly can while connected. I'm so sorry it's affecting your game in such a fundamental way. You're not alone.
