8 years agoDespite you saying you have an issue with my suggestion, you agreed. Retention does seem to be a problem, and the grind does seem to be comparable to Pokemon go. Prices do get worse as you reach end game with land expansions costing 30,000+ simloneans.
But the focus shouldn't be on trying to afford items, but on completing stories.

8 years agoSyarun, while I agree in principle with you on your Section B suggestions, I seriously doubt many will be implemented. As a 40+ year programmer and manager, I can tell you that what might seem easy may be very difficult to implement in a way that pays back. Sad fact, EA is not out to make a game we love to play, especially in the mobile space; they are out to maximize profit. Also, subscriptions don't make money... RNG loot boxes, scale-up costs that encourage Real Money purchase, and "cosmetic" (Pay2Win) micro-transactions are how they hook the whales.
I'm enjoying this game a lot, expect to put some time into it, but I don't think I'll be playing it very hard (if at all) in a year's time.
