Hi
@trisya11 I don’t work for EA so I’m not 100% on this, but from my own experience using an iPad and iPhone I can tell you what I think the problem is.
Apple mobile/iPads use the game centre to save your game progress to the cloud, so your games load where you left off next time you go to play.
Only one version of a game can be connected to that game centre, so if you want to switch between a new game and a previously saved one from the cloud, the game has to force close the open game to clear it and load the saved game from the cloud.
Your game centre is connected to your Apple ID, so you can only run one version of the game at a time. If you want to run two versions of the same game, you have two seperate Apple ID’s so you can create two separate game centre accounts and switch between them. Problem is that to do that, every time you want to switch between those games, you have to sign out of one Apple ID and into the other constantly and even then, the cloud still tries to force you to load the main game you play when you open anyway. It’s a royal pain, so I really don’t recommend it.
Android phones run more like computers so they don’t have the same set up and limitations like Pple products do, that’s why you could do it on the android.
Tbh the only easy way I’ve ever found to run two versions of the same game using an Apple device, is to use two different devices with seperate ID’s so they stay connected to seperate game centres.
Sorry for the long reply, but I hope that made some sense!
